Viewer Voice: Cops Gave Too Much Detail
Today's Viewer Voice comes in response to Operation Augusta Ink and the in-depth information that was shared with the media about the undercover operation.
I appreciate the fact that our community needs to be informed about the goings on in making our community safer and that we need to be informed regarding the raids on the gang members and their activities. I just don’t see how providing such significant and detailed information outlining the strategies and operations of the task force is going to make our community safer. It seems to me that providing every detail, i.e., the cameras, the covert operations, the tricks of the trade will substantially decrease our ability to succeed in the future. Rather, it would seem that providing these strategies in such detail would give the advantage to them. With so many details being provided, these people will not be intimidated. They will be empowered and learn to be much more clever in their activities, becoming more of a threat. The local media is bragging on how the agents gained their trust and tricked them. This does not seem like the time to brag. I am not saying that the authorities don’t deserve a tremendous thank you for their hard work, but this type of rhetoric will not reduce the crime rate. It will create a place where egos and control will take on a life of its own.

I disagree. The type of people they snatch up in these stings are too lazy and ignorant to outsmart trained undercover professionals.
They have a million tricks up their sleeves, the gang members have a handful of functioning brain cells on their best day.
However, if the media (talk show hosts) do indeed have any information about ongoing undercover operations (whether they keep a secret or not) that is WRONG WRONG WRONG. That type of thing WILL bite someone in the butt eventually, mark my words.
I am in full agreement with you. I applaud the brilliance with which this operation was conceived and brought to fruition. The public does not need to know this information in such detail. It would have been much better to simply say that an undercover sting operation resulted in the successful arrest of ___ gang members/criminals/suspects. More than that exposes the roots of how our law enforcement does these jobs, and this type sting will not work again.
On June 30, 2007, there were 9,834 black male prisoners per 100,000 black males in the United States in prison or jail, compared to 3,778 Hispanic male inmates per 100,000 Hispanic males, and 981 white male inmates per 100,000 white males.
Why are more than 65% of African-American males between the ages of 16 and 22 out of work and not in school? Why are 87% of juvenile parolees African-American males? Why are 73% of adult parolees African-American males? Why have only 38% of black males graduated from our nation’s high schools since 1995, while 62% percent have dropped out?
According to Justice Department figures, 12.9 percent of black males (ages 25-29) were in prison or jail; for white men in the same age group the number is 1.6 percent. These racially disparate incarceration rates influence public perception of black men and debilitate other aspects of black community life.
FACT: Our Black males have been targeted for elimination!!! Our CHILDREN have been strategically, specifically, and intentionally targeted by the powers that be for pre-mature physical death!!!
Despite the so-called youth development, youth training, and youth enhancement programs… the real intent is for the failure, frustration, mis-socialization, and elimination of our children.
How does this happen? How is it that a 12 year old male child, armed with an AK-47 assault rifle in the midst of the fighting in Afghanistan , has a better chance of reaching the age of 25 than our youth right here in the streets of our communities? Who is responsible for these atrocities? Who created the game plan for the destruction of our youth?
The strategic elimination of our Black males happens in at least 3 steps! The first step is DETERIORATION; the second step is CRIMINALIZATION; and the third step is JUSTIFIABLE ELIMINATION.
Step 1 – DETERIORATION
This is when our youth begin to develop a sense of worthlessness, meaninglessness, inadequacy, incompatibility, aloneness, and inferiority. How does this happen? It happens by the design of “social engineering,” (i.e., broken homes, abandoned, occupationally orphaned children, inadequate education, etc.). The destruction of Black males have been strategically designed so that Black male victims are led to participate in (and then be blamed for) their own “mass destruction.”
The chain of events begins with the socio-educational program in which more than 75% of the Black male children (who start school as potential geniuses) become frustrated to the point of dropping out of school by the 9th grade.
Then “forced” to acclimate themselves into their local environment, they take on behavioral patterns that are necessary for the survival of the psycho-egotistical nature of the male mind.
Step 2 – CRIMINALIZATION
Once this strategically designed atmosphere is established in the Black social environment, drugs and liquor are deliberately placed in the Black community and made “conveniently” accessible. The drugs and alcohol are then used to “street-treat” Black frustration and depression. The demand and habit for these silent killers become so high that the volume of cash flow provides the Black male population with the illusion that he is finally making some money and now he can share in the “American dream.”
Guns are then conveniently placed at the disposal of the same Black males, supposedly to aid them in enforcing payment for drug sales and “protecting” themselves.
The strategy, however, is for Black males to kill and destroy one another and then carry the blame despite the fact that no Black males manufacture the chemicals for drug use, nor do any Black males manufacture guns.
STEP 3 - JUSTIFIABLE ELIMINATION
Many Black people fail to comprehend the environmental context of the system of white supremacy and its ultimate goal of white genetic survival. As a result, too many of our people fail to grasp the deeper sense of what is actually occurring right in front of our faces...that the massive deaths of Black youth constitute the genocide of Black people. It takes Black males to make Black babies and ensure future Black generations! The hidden agenda is for as many Black males as possible to: (1) Be killed, or (2) Be incarcerated, or (3) Choose a lifestyle of homosexuality! Either way…Black births are prevented and the Black male-supported development of Black male children disappears. If the Black male child is confused in his sexuality, his desire will not be for a woman and hence...no children!
It is VERY important that you understand this!
We must know (and make our youth aware of) the laws that have been put in place to systematically and LEGALLY eliminate them and our future. A few of these laws are:
THE JUVENILE CRIMES BILL
(Sponsored by John Ashcroft)
Under the Juvenile Crimes Bill, a gang may be defined as “3 or more youth who are dressed in the same or similar gear.” If a gang member is caught initiating or recruiting new members it will result in a felony and adult prison time regardless of the youth’s age. This literally translates into this scenario --- If a group of young people are “hanging out,” wearing baseball caps backwards or the with similar colors on, they can LEGALLY be considered as a “gang” by the police. If someone from that so-called “gang” or group calls over another person to come “hang out” with them, that act can be considered as “recruitment” into the gang and ALL of the members of that “gang” can be charged with a felony (a major crime that carries a custodial sentence of up to 10 years).
THE ANTI-GANG BILL – HR 1279
(Passed on May 11, 2005 US House of Rep.)
This bill expands the range of “gang” crimes punishable by death; establishes minimum mandatory sentences; authorizes the prosecution of 16- and 17-year-old “gang members” in federal court as adults; and, extends the statute of limitations for all violent crimes from five to 15 years.
The bill authorized $387.5 million to fight “street crimes.” Who do you think gets this money? Cops, prosecutors, judges, correction officers, etc.
GANG ABATEMENT & PREVENTION ACT
(Passed on Friday, September 21, 2007)
This bill was approved by the entire Senate (the very next day after thousands of Black people “marched” in Jena , LA ). The Gang Abatement and Prevention Act makes a number of gang activities a federal crime, while increasing penalties for existing crimes and increasing funding for prevention and intervention efforts. They could have turned around and classified Marchers as gangs according to way act was designed. As illustrated in the more than 3 people association rule.
This bill authorized more than $1 billion dollars to increase law enforcement efforts in what is now called “High Intensity Gang Activity Areas” (HIGAAs). (Coincidently rhymes with NIGGAs)
This bill establishes far higher penalties for the new federal gang crimes it creates, including the possibility of life imprisonment without parole for murder, kidnapping, aggravated sexual abuse, or maiming. If the gang crime is a serious violent felony, the criminal can receive up to 30 years in prison. And for any other violent gang crimes, the criminal can receive up to 20 years in prison.
CLOSING NOTE: Our aim is to teach our youth to avoid committing crimes. We do not advocate the dismissal of wrong doing on anyone’s part. However, we do hold that our young people are in an environment that was created for their demise and we must make them aware of the devices that have been designed for their elimination and/or premature death.

That last comment was soooo not needed. Everything is NOT a race issue. Time to take responsibility and stop blaming everything on the color of someone's skin. That is the biggest cop-out used in our society to this day. Obviously if they were in the raid, they were guilty if by nothing else, association. Make a home a better place for a child to be and stop throwing them out on the streets to get into trouble, and help them to choose friends wisely. You cannot protect your children at all times but you can alleviate the self-pity by knowing that you taught them the right way to handle themselves in any situation. The Senate is not just made up of white people who are out to get all black males. The Senate is made of blacks, whites, as well as hispanics. They all get a chance to vote. "Approved by the entire Sentate." You wrote that, therefore it is also the blacks and hispanics out to get the black male.....think about it.
Black males targeted for elimination? If that was the fact, then the other races would stand back and let the young black men kill each other off.
